Where ARE you supposed to live if you have no home or money?

Posted on December 3, 2011

It’s not illegal to not own a home or rent an apartment… but it seems to be illegal for a homeless person to set up a camp or a home base anywhere. So where IS a homeless person supposed to sleep or live in this our homeland?

While pondering that question, consider this quote:

“If the American people ever allow private banks
to control the issue of their money,
first by inflation and then by deflation,
the banks and corporations that will
grow up around them (around the banks),
will deprive the people of their property
until their children will wake up homeless
on the continent their fathers conquered.”

Homeless encampment springs up after Occupy Philadelphia eviction

A homeless camp dubbed “Camp Liberty” sprang up in the Port Richmond section as a result of the Occupy Philadelphia eviction, creating controversy with the city officials and the State Department of Transportation. Pennsylvania. 1st December 2011

The inhabitants of Camp Liberty are refugees from Occupy Philadelphia, fleeing a mere two days before the City Hall encampment was evicted. Now located under the I-95 overpass in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, it is facing resistance from the city and the state Department of Transportation because of a proposed development project and planned renovations to the interstate highway. The fate of the encampment is uncertain and many of the inhabitants refuse to move to poorly-funded, overcrowded shelters as winter approaches.
